ABOUT ME

I update my profile occasionally to suit life's adventures, and an adventure it has certainly been. I've had surprisingly diverse experiences (life is full of surprises lol!) and would love to meet up with people who are open minded and interested in sharing their own life experiences too. I love the body in motion: travel, hiking (on dirt or concrete), skiing, swimming, dancing , drawing, cooking, and the companion elements that make it all possible (human, animal, plant, machine).

PHILOSOPHY

Shelter is a gift, and the presence or absence of it, and how we think about it, informs our experiences. A good one, whether it be a mattress below, the stars above, or an arm encircling you, makes all the difference.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

The longer I live, the more I believe in karma, and am conscious to give as much as I can. I am traveling at the moment, and will be a happy hosts when able.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Love it!! CSers are incredibly diverse and the system allows people with common goals to find each other. New experience and growth seems to be one of the key motivators in life, and the sense of comfort with what you feel that you know and understand is constantly challenged by unfamiliarity. Learning to approach unfamiliarity with grace is beautiful, and couchsurfing encourages exactly that.

Heard 40+ wolves howling 100 yards from where I lay in a sleeping bag in Colorado.

Most days, it is simply being here, knowing the wealth of collective experience that adds up to create this shared existence.

The Basics:
Show me where the pots and pans are, and I will be happy to help shop for food and make simple meals spring forth. If I am staying with you, any household chores would be a pleasure to assist with.
The Icing:
If you're interested, I will be happy to visit a local pool/beach and share a swim lesson to evaluate your technique. I teach all levels, from babies to adult beginners and triathletes, so don't hesitate to take me up on it.
