CURRENT MISSION

Hello! Not planning on going anywhere at the moment but am more than happy to come and have people stay here! Love to meet people of all cultures from all over the world and hopefully it will be the start of some wonderful friendships!

ABOUT ME

Hello! I am 28 years old and have two children. A little boy called Jacob who's 9 and a little girl called Poppy who's 7. We live in a little house on the top of a hill in the middle of beautiful countryside and we share our home with 3 cats and 4 chickens! I work full time for a worker co-operative called Suma doing a variety of things from working in an office to delivering things on a truck! I would be happy to open our home to anybody who needs a place to stay and somebody to point them in the right direction of some lovely things to see and do but I would be particularly interested in hosting anybody who works in the co-operative movement or has an interest in worker's politics in their own country. I live about 45 minutes by train away from the main cities of Manchester and Leeds in a little town called Hebden Bridge. It may be small but it can be very exciting - especially with the right guide!! I guess it would be a suitable place to stay for someone who has done the cities in England and wants to see a bit of the countryside although we also know how to have a good party! None as yet, although I have taken parts in lots of exchanges to Germany, Sicily and the Czech Republic.

Intereses

Everything! Dancing, running, ski-ing, partying! books, cinema. Politics especially worker's politics. Did a lot of work as part of my degree on Latin American politics, especially Argentina and Venezuela, so would be great to hear from anyone with stories to tell from that part of the world!
