About Me

CURRENT MISSION

World Peace, generating a network of international friends

ABOUT ME

I love travelling and making new friends, my family, my friends at home and abroad. A sports fanatic, I love my soccer and tennis particularly , but also like to ski (though the exorbitant costs limit how often I can ski). At the moment I am travellign with my best mate around the world, partying, learning and living in all different landscapes, cultures and environments. I am enjoying trying to learn spanish and german , and trying to communicate with broken language skills is both a great frustration and great joy (paradoxically). I hope the couch surfing project can continue to enhance and add value to the richness of our travelling experience by providing a unique insight into new cities around the world, and offering the chance to make an incredible diverse but tight-knit group of friends from all backgrounds and all corners of the globe. I also look forward to showcasing my home city , Melbourne to the global community when I return from my travels.

PHILOSOPHY

If it´s there....eat it! Have an incredible love of life and making the most out of every day. Live for teh moment , because this experience (travelling the world for a year after university) is a unique opportunity.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

New member - looking forward to meeting and interacting with people around the world to better understand their way of live, and the cultural distinctions and nuances that make this world so amazing and diverse.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Hung out with Lucas Martin and Yanina Gruenwald in Rosario and BA Argentina. I learnt that couch surfing is not just about providing a bed (thoug h this is a wonderful sharing gesture) but about introducing one´s way of life to another person. The bond that this creates is an incredible friendship, and I look forward to continuing to grow and learn from my travels and couch surfing experiences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Finally we are on the European leg after visiting South America, Cabo - Mexico, New York and Morocco. Highlights include Carnival in Salvador, Brazil; Salt Flats in Bolivia; Making couch surfing friends and partying in Argentina ; and New York.

Teach, Learn, Share

Cooking ...I love it (almost as much as I love eating) . There is nothing like the satisfaction of savouring a quality meal in the knowledge that you´ve created it yourself.

I am a tennis coach at home, and always enjoy discussing the finer points of any sport. I also used to coach soccer.
