About Me

CURRENT MISSION

exams, exams, exams....but there is light at the horizon

ABOUT ME

I'm really lazy sometimes...too lazy to write more about me :D

Just ask or find out in person :P

PHILOSOPHY

"Werde, der du bist" /"Become, who you are" This quote by Nietzsche is the foundation of my philosophy and keeps me trying to get better at what I do and work on the things I don't like about myself.

"Der Tod geht uns nichts an;
denn solange wir existieren,
ist der Tod nicht da,
und wenn er Tod da ist,
existieren wir nicht mehr."

"Death is nothing to us, since when we are, death has not come, and when death has come, we are not."

This citation by Epikur kind of is the feeling I have about how I should live my life and why I'm studying medicin.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well I'd like to meet lots of new people and experience the shit out of every single day.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted a few people at my place. I had fun showing them around and spending time with them. Also I met many nice couch surfers at the beach camp in Berlin and by now I also crashed on some couches in Canada and Hungary. Always nice people and good times.

Interests

reading, rock climbing, biking, traveling, lots of other sports (Taekwondo, Jujutsu, swimming), music, movies, gardening (I have a crazy obsession with Chili- and Paprika plants) , playing diabolo, juggling,devil-sticks, slackline, cooking, drinking tea, the great outdoors, summer-festivals, making cocktails

Music, Movies, and Books

simply too many (maybe I'll add some favourites when I find the time)

generally my taste for music is about finding the tunes that don't just copy and past successfull concepts and sell it as new. so you can chase me with most pop music and everything in the charts. I like a lot of old stuff and if it's a vinyl it's even better.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I hiked the Juan de Fuca Marine trail, which was a great experience and adventure for me, not only because I saw whales, got robbed by a raccoon, got imprisoned on a rock by the tide and steped into bearshit, but also because I got close to my physical and mental limits.
Another great experience was the inter rail trip to southern France and Italy with Arianne. I'm glad I shared this time with her.
I have been to the Fusion-Festival four times now. It has been a fun and almost unreal time for me.
Another recent adventure was a climbing trip to Croatia in mid-winter. We were also sleeping in tents and I can tell you the nights/mornings were cold but nothing a good breakfast and some jägermeister couldn't fix.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to play diabolo/devil-sticks, or do some cardtricks, carve a spoon, make fire without matches or a good paperplane/waterbomb out of paper.
Lately I also learned how to cook a bit, also some Hugarian dishes so I could also share that piece of knowledge as well
