About Me
CURRENT MISSION
travel, meeting new people, cultures, taking pleasure in your life while you still can!
ABOUT ME
Well, we could ramble on a few pages, haha! Have a look in our reviews and hope it'll be enough to come and see us (or welcome us) and make your own opinion.
PHILOSOPHY
"Anything can happen in life, especially nothing." (Michel Houellebecq "Platform") Oh, irony! So I guess, by keeping that in mind, we're trying to do our best to do not let that happen. And..
"If life has taught me anything it’s that 95% of the people are always wrong." ("Bucket List" Jack Nicholson to Morgan Freeman) That's the best for times when you hear that you're a 'weirdo' too often ;o) Cause ..
"Everything is ironic to me. There are moments I find hysterical, but I'm probably the only one who would find that, except for a few people." (River Phoenix) And if you have these people beside you in these very moments - these are the best moments of your life!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Because we think it's a great idea and we've had really good experience so far. It's amazing how many passionate, positively crazy and interesting people are out there. And that's the best way to meet them.
Interests
I guess films and books, lots of films in the winter time :o) bicycle trips or by car (if we occasionally have it), experimental music?, sailing, kayaking (extreme version with holding a beer and a cigarette at the same time), cooking, sometimes experimental (especially if you're emptying your cupboard - so called making something out of nothing), small Italian coffee in the morning, .. life!

Music, Movies, and Books
So music, very variable, depends on the mood, day, company! Almost everything, trip-hop, dub step, electronic, jazz, latino!, folk, black, experimental, mostly off the mainstream, but as already said, anything is good with a good company.
Movies? That changes quite often too. But there are some classics we like to come back to - 'Coffee and cigarettes', 'Bananas', actually all Woody Allen's work, Coen brothers, Michael Haneke, Lynch, and 'Man from the Moon', 'Lost in translation', 'American Beauty', 'The Laughing Frog' (Hideyuki Hirayama), 'Nosferatu' (Herzog),'Contact'(film and book)'Madagaskar' ;o)
And books. We really come back a lot to Ryszard Kapuscinski. Sometimes sci-fi and horror (King, Masterton). Recently: 'The Kindly Ones' (Jonathan Littell), 'The Magus' (John Fowles), Natsuo Kirino, Haruki Murakami, Oe Kenzaburo, Stanislaw Lem...
