Oh man, my profile here is now so old it's not in the right format! Currently living in Dayton with my wife and way too many rescue cats. Haven't traveled as much as I used to pre-pandemic and hoping to fix that soon. Talkative, friendly people person.

My adventures have included road trips, swing dancing, big couch surfing group events, hikes and general silliness.

Not sure if/when I'd host again but I certainly don't respond to any requests that are obvious copy/paste group spams.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been here since 2008 and it has historically been such a interesting way to meet new people, connect and better understand/experience the world. Staying in a hotel doesn't help connect you to the local area quite like a couch surfing host.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies: Love comedies, things that mess with your head, sci fi, fantasy and anything with zombies.

Music: I love all music that has soul or meaning in it no matter what genre. As long as it feels like the song was written for a reason other than just selling records and making money!!

Books: most of my reading is sci-fi and fantasy, but I do appreciate any book that is good enough to hold my attention!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Amazing, I honestly find the people I meet to be the most amazing thing. People are an experience all their own and meeting new people, bonding, making new friends create amazing experiences that can't always be described.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to Lindy Hop, East Coast Swing and Blues Dance! I cook alright, give pretty damn good massages and carry a varied set of knowledge and skills that make no sense.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I clean pretty well and am a good guest. Beyond that I'll gladly attempt to cook and provide best conversation I can.
