ABOUT ME

I am a mathematician (but a normal one, do not panic! at least not yet), a feminist, and a lover of life.
I am very talkative, not politically correct (I do like to be politically incorrect when I have a glass of beer). I am a extravagant mixture between traditional culture from Castilla, underground culture from Madrid, and travel experiences. But summarizing, lets say a girl who likes travelling, friends, dancing, cooking, films, books, stay at home sometimes, sleep, nature, big cities, go out in the night, walk, talk, listen to people, meet different people... come on! a normal and boring profile ;-D

PHILOSOPHY

Sorry, this is impossible to translate:

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I hosted people when I lived in Madrid, but at the present time, I do not have enough space to host at my tiny studio. On the other hand, I am really motivated to meet people and to show them around in the city.
I also have a car, so we can make plans for weekends, and go to visit small towns around Bilbao.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed several couches and hosted several people (please, feel free to check the references below for more details).

I met people from CS in several places that I visited, they showed me around and we had beers together. I showed around people that came to Bilbao too. (some references below).

In Bilbao I meet at least once a week the CS community for having one beer (to be honest more than one) and sometimes we do other type of plans, like going to the countryside, to the beach, or we organize big dinners or trips (references below and pics in the albums).

兴趣

I'm interested in science, I like to read in the newspaper about the new advances in science, go to the museums...

I'm interested also in all the different kinds of food, I like cooking and I hope people show me how to cook new dishes, traditional from their countries.

I also danced in a traditional group of dance from Castilla Leon: El Allar (you can look for it in Youtube to see how we dance jotas), and I tried at some point Euskal Dantzas. I'm interested in all kind of dances, and folk culture.

Also I like travelling and in spring I go to the Camino de Santiago, which is a trip that I recommend to do, specially to do it alone, because the atmosphere and the energy are unique.

Moreover, I like reading and I've recently joined a feminist reading club "La tribu" in which we analyze books written by women.

Finally, I am interested in activism and more precisely in groups and collectivities that try to remark problems in the society through nonviolent demonstrations.
