ABOUT ME

I'm a chef & musician based in Oakland, California.

I love to explore the intersections between art, food, community and travel. I like to balance my pursuits in cooking and music with an active lifestyle involving yoga, climbing, and cycling. I also actively practice meditation, and exchanging ideas and reflection among friends and community.

Cooking amazing food, sharing stories and offering my gratitude for the experience of friendship. I'm looking forward to sharing musical experiences, and new adventures around the globe.

I'm also looking forward to hosting more travelers once I have a good setup for sharing space in Oakland; to contribute more back to the amazing experiences I've had as part of the Couch Surfing Community!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I really enjoy making new connections and meeting people who are actively involved in their local communities through culinary arts, art and music. I have had the good fortune of surfing with some very generous and open-hearted hosts and have had a chance to experience other countries as if they were my own.

I love teaching people about my life through my music, cooking, and conversation. I love to learn from all types of people; especially through the experience of craft. I'm learning something new about life everyday!

I love collaborating on home-cooked meals, and teaching culinary techniques I've honed in my career as a culinary professional. I enjoy teaching guitar and yoga while I travel across the globe.

I like to experience local life as a traveler, so I want to share my journey as part of my hosts life; being sensitive to their space and lifestyle while also hoping to bring positive energy and sunny California vibes wherever I travel!
