I've been camping and exploring since I was very little, and I still do whenever I can. I like storytelling and not knowing anything about a place but going there to find out.

PHILOSOPHY

I'd like to live without ever having been bored, and to borrow a friend's philosophy: if there's something you want to do or need to do, "just do it."

Music, Movies, and Books

I love old movies, especially film noir... The Big Sleep, The Third Man. Other movies I love: The Princess Bride, Wings of Desire, Roman Holiday, Strictly Ballroom.
As for music, I like all types, especially world music, Latin and Irish music. Also Peter Gabriel, Crash Test Dummies, Stan Rogers, Gillian Welch...
As for books: probably my favorites are the His Dark Materials Trilogy (The Golden Compass),

Teach, Learn, Share

I've been learning set dancing since I've been studying in Ireland, and I could try to teach a little! I also speak (nearly) fluent Spanish and practice Karate. I really want to learn Flamenco, Salsa, and Tango... also I'd like to try to learn as much of just about any language as I can.
