I think there is beauty in everything and everyone. I am open minded and love new thoughts and ideas! Therefore, I love meeting new people, traveling, and experiencing everything my passions lead me to. I am stimulated by adventure. I think playing is for everyone, not just children. I enjoy smiling, laughing, kayaking, climbing, water sports, skiing, camping, music festivals, yoga, etc. I think it's important to try new things and continue to challenge yourself. I hope to learn and grow my entire life and make connections with other beautiful souls. :)

I'm here to meet people along my travels. I'm also happy to welcome fellow travelers into my life.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have stayed with an amazing host in Fiji on my way home from New Zealand. Since then, I forgot my couch surfing account existed. Now I'm ready to take full advantage of it!!!

Please don't take advantage of me, try to kill me, or steal one of my kidneys and sell it in the black market. :)

Interests

New experiences!!! I also like being in nature, hiking, paddling, climbing, skiing, water sports, dance parties, traveling, the ocean and beaches, people, and the sunshine (especially when its setting). I love the stars too. And lake Hawea. Oh and I am especially passionate about food! :) All this talk about my interests makes me want to jump off this couch and do something!
Lately I've been interested in photography and I've been reading a lot. I like to continue my own education.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like books by Hermann Hesse. The Giver. The Little Prince. Any book that gives you a different perspective or makes you think.

As far as movies go, I like comedies!! I love to laugh. I also like the psychological movies. Ones with twists and turns, or ones that offer you a different perspective and make you think.

Music: Red Hot Chili Peppers, The Beatles, The Doors, Led Zeppelin, Sublime, Simon & Garfunkel, Bob Dylan, Clapton, Nirvana, Bob Marley, Oasis, O.A.R., Radiohead, DMB, David Grey, Hendrix, Jack Johnson, Air, Jason Mraz, Ben Harper, Pink Floyd, Tool, Darude, 311, Blind Melon, Alana Davis, Amublance Ltd, John Mayer, Howie Day, Vic Ruggiero, Fool's Garden ... the list goes on.

I like Spanish music, Italian music, Norwegian and Swedish music, and Korean music.

I like live music at any venue! Music events .. especially outdoors.

I like hearing new music from different countries.

I just like music! All of it.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did the Nevis bungy jump. I was on top of the world for the next two days straight.

I've also seen a sunset at Bungaree Hut on Stewart Island. There were amazing colors I've never seen before. Someone should alert the crayon companies.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can share my thoughts and ideas, my passion for food, I know a lot about health and exercise (pre-med, but don't want to be a doctor). I am good with children. I taught water skiing and lacrosse to children age 8-13 haha. I can teach you how to play sudoku. I also used to make keychains with lanyard.. I could teach you how to do that. We could exchange back massages. Oh and I make a great English teacher apparently.

I am happy to lend a hand with anything. :)

I would like to learn how to crochet. I want to make hats for myself and all of my friends. :)
