ABOUT ME

I have been bitten by the travel bug since August 2005 and try to grab every opportunity I get to travel. Originally from Mumbai, India, I most recently lived in Singapore and have now moved to the United States as a graduate student.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Over the last few years I have been living in student housing/ rental apartments that has not allowed me to host. Once I am done with my studies and move back to my home in India, I would be delighted to host any travelers who are genuinely interested in cultural exchanges

For now, if you are passing through Boston, US, drop me a note and I'd be happy to meet up with you for a coffee/ drinks and show you Boston the way I see it.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Whenever I travel, I love to go beyond the obvious 'tourist' activities and really discover the soul of each place that I visit - meet the locals, experience the authentic sights and sounds and learn the unique traits that define each place.

CouchSurfing is such a marvelous way to do this!

I am stuck in a previous generation in my movie tastes - absolutely enjoy the old black-and-white Hollywood classics with Humphrey Bogart, Cary Grant, Clark Gable, Audrey Hepburn, Katharine Hepburn, Ingrid Bergman, Rock Hudson. Musicals and BBC book adaptations are my favorite!

My preferences in books are not very different with my favorites being novels by Jane Austen, the Bronte sisters, Elizabeth Gaskell

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Walked for about 4.5 hours from Monaco to Nice just so I could see every inch of the gorgeous coast. Definitely worth it!!!
