About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To make up something clever for my "mission"

ABOUT ME

I am a relaxed and down to earth kind of guy. I love to hang out with my friends, joking, chatting, partying or whatever, and I love to hang out with possible, new friends.

It is my experience that the best times in life are often the times you didn't plan in details. This is reflected in my way of travelling, where I like to stay open, alert and jump for the first and best opportunity that provides itself. Luckily alot of people feel like this, especielly in the CS community, which is why I love this site so much.

I seldomly turn down a good argument. My favourite subjects are: The universe (is it infinite or what?) and politics (but in a very abstract way, above known parties and politiciens)

PHILOSOPHY

I think my philosophy is a mixture of "Don't panic", "I'm not mr. lebowski, I'm the dude", "Love thy neighbour", "justice shall be done", "goes around, comes around", "be cool, stay in school" and "You can do it!".
How exactly that would sound in one line,I really don't know.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I will gladly share my small dorm room with couchsurfers for a few days. If you are in town, and need a couch to surf, try me!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couch surfed in Australia and hosted a few times in Copenhagen. I hope to host again.

I try to participate in cs events to. So far it have brought me good times in Hyde Park (Sydney), Christania (uuhmm, pancakes)(Copenhagen) and some pub in Brisbane I don't remember the name of.

Interests

-Sports, more playing than watching.
-Funny stuff, such as Monty Python, Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy, The big Lebowski and so on.
-Physics, such as "gee, it's a big universe", "wow, speed of light, thats really fast" and "can't wait until the invention of the teleporter".
-Cooking, I really like to cook, pretty much anything, but I am very interested in learning to cook traditionel danish food. My grandmother is my cooking idol.

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen alot to metal. Back in the days I listened alot to Iron Maiden and Metallica (mostly the old albums). Now i listen more to Trivium, Opeth, Mastodon, Meshuggah, Textures and the likes.
I also listen to different genres of electronic music. Lately I've been listening alot to Tom Waits.
When it comes to Movies all i really want is to be entertained (not meant in a HAHA-kind of way). I don't use movies as an eye opener. I'll watch anything that can amuse me in some way. Let it be from Hollywood or Europe, Drama, action or comedy, high or low budget.

When I read, it´s mostly sci-fi and fantasy. I don't read that much, though I would like to. Books i really liked are Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy, The Hobbit, The Fall of the King and Neuromancer. Right now I am working my way through "Gravity's rainbow".

Teach, Learn, Share

Gotta think a little about this, i will return with something.
(Have been promising this for years now, maybe I really don't know anything to teach)
