ABOUT ME
About a year and a half ago, I found a way to make a living doing what I'm passionate about: cycling and travelling. Since then, I've been travelling and working around the world.
I grew up in the northern prairies and have transplanted myself to Montreal a few years ago. I am independent, talkative, curious, accepting, kind and rather laid back. I have a very serious passion for cycling. I commute by bicycle even in Montreal's frigid winter and heavy snow storms.
I:
Enjoy diversity. Enjoy insanity. Enjoy people. Enjoy intricate cities. Enjoy undisturbed lands. Enjoy bars with character. Enjoy conversing. Enjoy reading. Enjoy being. Enjoy giving. Enjoy mismatched socks.
PHILOSOPHY
Constant discovery and evolution to stave off fossilisation. Explosive experiences, with personal reflection.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We must build the blueprint for a better world before we construct it. As I note below, our couch regularly hosts surfers.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to nearly all music. I am particularly fascinated by jazz and hip-hop because of its brilliance and capacity for intertextuality, rhythm and creativity.
Any good novel (and some not so good ones) will do. I also enjoy reading theory books * mostly political philosophy - queer theory, anarchism, community resistance, activism. They force me to reflect on the nature of humanity and the possibilities that are yet to be discovered.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have seen the hearts of many a splendid human being. Even the greatest sites and monuments pale in comparison.
Teach, Learn, Share
I strongly believe in skill and knowledge sharing. I like to think I'm a fairly practical person. I can cook and can food. I'm always down for learning more on those subjects. Of particular interest are permaculture and consciousness. I also try to volunteer at both a queer art coop and a community bike shop.
