I was born in a small town in the panhandle of texas. My father was a farmer and i grew up driving tractors, combines and cotton strippers on the great plains. high school was hard i was pretty different for my home town. most of my friends played music. music became the purpose of my life and the best way to fill my time. I first started college at south plains college studying sound technology and getting an ascociates in applied science. and then moved to california and went to Calarts graduating after 3 years. then i took up a residence in los feliz, los angeles, and worked in a theater Called the Alex in Glendale for about two years. before going slightly insane and heading for europe. where i am now

PHILOSOPHY

I have adopted a lifestyle of minimalism, I like nice clothes but I like them worn like they are not. I want to touch others and participate in creation with them. in every day some way.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently I am traveling. I have surfed a few times. I surf to build an international community of which i can participate in a way that spans beyond the web. Its the faces not the places that mean the most to me

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I thought about couchsurfing while working and living for a month with an old roomate from college

I joined Couchsurfing in paris while living working and partying for two months with a beautiful group of people I had never met before but that became family to me.

then came the nomadic period
at first i tried and tried
it was hard to stand let alone ride

my first successful couch surf was in copenhagen, in a spontaneous diversion to kill time before vienna, that coincided with chance encounters of a magical kind, i broke too fast from this wave to catch a perfectly timed well executed far too short one in Vienna

Then Budapest Surfing A perfect unexpected spontaneous gift. wave after wave face after face so many beautiful,inviting people causing me to pause and hold out waiting and enjoying and sinking in like i had been longing for since Paris.

Alas, my time was running out and before I left europe I needed To have that new life discovery experience in Berlin.
so i finally went though it wasn't the end. all my contacts that i had spoke with before, no longer answered.
all the new ones i tried were not surfable
emergency post yielded results shortly and wonderfully but not as i had dreamed.
it seemed my delaying the cherry for the end caused me to miss the surf season.
