ABOUT ME

Hi everyone in couch surfing land!

I hope you are doing great. About us, its hard to say, we like to ride our bicycles a lot and were very interested in issues facing the poor and want to help in any way possible.

We're activists, lovers, friends, brothers, sisters, cyclists, sons, daughters and seekers of a beautiful life and probably some other stuff to.

PHILOSOPHY

Something along the lines of....

I believe in a better way, what good is a man who won't take a stand? What good is a city with no better plan? I believe in a better way.-ben harper

We are a people tending toward democracy at the level of hope; on another level, the economy of the nation, the empire of business within the republic, both include in their basic premise the concept of perpetual warfare... But around and under and above it is another reality, like desert water kept from the surface and the seed, like the old desert-answer needing its channels, the blessing of much work before it arrives to act and make flower. This is the history of possibility. All we can do is believe in the seed, living in that beleif.-Muriel Rukeyser

Went on a thousand mile bicycle tour last year. It was truly one amazing adventure. Between negociating with truckers, hitchhiking, wandering through the woods, having the most amazing sense of freedom ever it was an amazing trip.

Culmination came on the last night as I peered over one of the most amazingly beautiful lakes as the sun came down over the water. God certainly knows beauty and can surely reveal it to us if we just watch

I know how to fix bicycles so if you bring one that is busted I can probably fix it for ya! Elizabeth is an excellent seamstress so if your clothes are falling apart she can probably help.

We know how to dance *stupid white boy and girl style (although others might disagree :) (Elizabeth thinks she knows how to dance ballet) (Elizabeth here: I actually do know how to dance ballet...Jon's the one who can't dance ;)

Know a thing or two about poltical theory, social theory, or some of that philosophy stuff.

Usually pretty good at cheering people up smiles!
