Happy go lucky ... I guess.
Pretty easy to get around with and eager to see and get the feeling of how things are worked out in other parts of the world than in my own little crazy one.

You have to get out there and try it in order to get your own opinion on how the world works these days.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Joined up because I think it is a great way of exploring all "You great Earth People" when travelling. The greatest part of travelling is when you get in touch with the locals and let them guide you instead of having to go by a book! Don't get me wrong - I do NOT expect people I meet to be my personal guide - but they usually know the does and dont's in their local area.
I guess the other part of it is curiosity towards other cultures and off course need for adventure.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I guess I have been doing it for several years by now without giving it a particular name other than "crashing on someones couch"- but okay let's just call it couchsurfing - sounds better:0)

Interests

Exploring the unknown, the feeling of adrenalin, pushing myself to the limit.
Nature, crossfit, photography, kayaking, skiing, diving, hiking, what ever as long as it is out doors.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Travelling solo in Norway, Iceland, Corsica, Mexico, USA, Turkey and New Zealand and met some really great people on my way.

Cenote diving in Yucatan, Mexico.

Parachuting over the Fox Glacier, New Zealand.

Flying in a hot air balloon over Cappadocia, Turkey.

Some people collect fridge magnets - I collect hand stand photos from the places I have visited. A bit wacky perhaps but a funny memory e.g. from the Great Wall in China, The Red Square in Moscow, Grand Place in Brussels and Cappadocia in Turkey:0)

Teach, Learn, Share

Everyone you meet can teach you something!

I have seen the poverty of some of the worlds poorest locations and still found people smiling. That is really amazing and something we could all learn something from. They have the skill to find happiness in some of the simplest things that you cannot buy for all the money in the world.
