ABOUT ME

I am a musician. I run an independent record label and play in several bands. I like to travel and also to meet new people. As well as music I enjoy movies, art and exploring new cultures.

PHILOSOPHY

Aside from immersing myself in creativity and music, I also really enjoy having fun. Being happy and sharing that happiness with others really must be the point of our existence here, as much as there is a time and a place for all other aspects and emotions in life. Those other seemingly less positive things are needed to create contrast against times when life is at its best, however enjoying each day and creating good energy really is most important.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I not only look to stay with people when I travel throughout the world, but I am always open whenever I am available to contribute to the project by showing people around the U.S. and helping them to have the best stay possible.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I went to Europe and stayed with two different surfers. They showed me a great time and were very nice.

Music: (this list could be quite long so I'll try to hit some of the key points) The Beatles, Radiohead, Sly and the Family Stone, John Coltrane, Talking Heads, The Rolling Stones, Wes Montgomery, James Brown, Lettuce, Jimi Hendrix, Billie Holiday, Miles Davis, Parliament Funkadelic, Joni Mitchell, basically anything that evokes an emotional reaction, especially if that reaction is to dance hard.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am an active musician in the sense that I write, play, record and even mix, master, distribute and advertise my own music. I run my own record label as mentioned earlier, and I have shared many experiences on the road, at school, in the studio and beyond with music. I think that I have a great deal to offer all over the musical spectrum. Though this is my main focus in life, I believe I also have a lot to offer on a personal level and I have many experiences and ideas to share about various aspects of life.
