HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Although I love meeting kindred spirits, I'm overwhelmed with work at the moment and have to put my CS activities on hold. I wish you safe travels!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
My friend Karla introduced me to Couchsurfing in 2007. What I love about traveling most is meeting new people and cultural exchange. Couchsurfing is an amazing opportunity.

Music, Movies, and Books
My taste is eclectic from folk to hip hop. Currently, I have Michael Franti in my CD player. One of my favorite movies is One Over the Cuckoo's Nest (which is the rare film that is better than the book). I've read the Alchemist several times. The book speaks to me in different ways depending on what's going on in my life. Right now I'm reading Me to We: Finding Meaning in a Material World by Craig and Mark Kielburger. A good friend gave it to me. It's really interesting and inspiring. The personal stories of transformation are my favorite parts. Update- just read Molo'kai- fascinating historical fiction on a leprosy colony in Hawaii. Currently reading Wild by Cheryl Strayed- awesome hiking tale.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Waitressed on a tropical island for a year and have lived in two yoga ashrams
