ABOUT ME

I enjoy traveling, but seldom stay in hotels. In the 60's I hitch-hiked around Scotland and stayed in old castles (for less than $1/day) that had been turned into hostels. Tents are my favorite (or maybe the deck of a sailboat), but in the winter I will stay in yurts or simple cabins. House boats are nice, but the back of a car will do in a pinch. For me, outside is better than inside.
