About Me

My husband Antonio and I just got married, quit our 9-5 jobs, he as a financial analyst, myself, as a environmental researcher, sold our stuff and left Brazil to live a life long dream: to travel the world for 2 years as our honeymoon.

We are very active people. We met in my very first rock climbing experience. We both love climbing, hiking, trekking and cycling (we have cycled 1200+ km in Patagonia, Chile/Argentina) and did a backpacking to Mexico, Belize and Guatemala together.

In USA we bought a minivan, converted it ourselves (no previous experience \o/) into a tinyhouse on wheels and will be exploring the west coast for 6 months.

We are looking forward to meet new people and have a wonderful time!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Of course we need a shower (we do have a camping one, but we can't use it everywhere) every now and then, but what is the most important about CouchSurfing is the people we meet. That is why we travel, to understand a world different of the world we came from. And how better to do that than meeting locals?

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I like to think that I do and mainly see amazing things every day!Every sunrise is a miracle!

I have also cycled for 1200km in Patagonia, swan with whale sharks and build my own home inside a minivan!

Teach, Learn, Share

Life is like a box of chocolates:some are crunchy, some are nutty, some are sweet, some are chewy, but all are delicious in their own way. Without each one, life would not be complete.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Joy! Antonio and I are very optimist people!
