ABOUT ME

I can be pretty cheerful and easy going, B-type personality for sure, love learning and growing and letting life take me to amazing places. When I'm not travelling I need to work a little harder to keep that mentality but it helps to live in a beautiful city on the coast. In either case I try to stay positive and live with integrity... you can't get anywhere without that. I'm getting my Masters in Counselling and I work as a massage therapist, two important and connected passions of mine.

I love animals, love music, the outdoors, laughing, camping(!), wine, books, wandering of any kind. I'm a prairie girl but my heart was on the West Coast so I made the move and love it. I like listening to new ideas and life outlooks, really appreciate the never ending perspectives that people bring with them. I'm interested in the many forms that art and creativity present themselves in people. I'm learning how to play guitar:)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

People either love me or hate me for this, but the most well spent time of my life has been hitch-hiking. Taking that leap showed me beautiful places and people that I never would have seen otherwise and I was really touched by the warmth and kindnesses shown to me through my travels. Hitch hiking is a lot like couchsurfing in that strangers quickly become friends and you get to enjoy a place from a local perspective.

Also, one time, I had some beers with Ween's drummer.

Because of my schooling in massage, I can teach people about the body, how muscles interact, and, obviously, massage techniques if anyone is interested to learn them. I also travel with Tarot cards, so I'm happy to offer a free tarot reading (I'm not a psychic or anything! The cards speak for themselves).
I'm learning to make music, on guitar and with my voice. This is a big deal. I'd like to learn more. I am also trying to be a better cook, so I'd love to learn more about flavors and dishes. I also really want to ride a horse again one day.
