ABOUT ME

I write and dance around a lot. I believe in energy, freedom, respect and beauty as ways of living. I love my family and friends. I get along pretty well with people but am also big on personal space.

Currently in an intense grad school program and loving New York and getting deeper into poetry and writing. Trying to be more open.

PHILOSOPHY

love. yourself, others, the world, the unknown.

this seems to mean a lot of listening and learning about courage, surrender, compassion, empowerment, calm, joy, and the terrible crystals. exciting stuff.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Host when I can, surf when I can, meet for coffee, give tips, gush about it when I can.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've hosted in Canada and Spain, been able to stay with great people in Canada, England, France, Italy, Croatia, and Morocco, and met up in Iceland and the U.S., making some quick but deep friendships. I've also given/gotten advice and checked out some intercambios which left me even more 'wow' about the whole idea.

兴趣

books, yoga, nature, poetry/all art, philosophy (continental/post-structuralism, phenomenology, gender, body/sex, aesthetics), rock climbing, emotions, eye contact, fire, cooking, that feeling in your stomach from roller coasters

I'm almost always up for trying new things and meeting new people unless I need need to sleep or hibernate. I'm trying to learn how to not try to do too many things.

I'm up for learning most things. About culture (broad, I know), and cooking especially. Could teach yoga, literature, fine lines, chat philosophy, books/places I've been, stories picked up along the way.
