ABOUT ME

I'm a history student, bookworm and movie-fan, I love cooking and baking and I'm addicted to chocolate (like every proper swiss:-)).
I am interested in many different topics, like art, politics, literature...
I also enjoy travelling a lot and I'm looking forward to see more interesting places and meet new people.

Music, Movies, and Books

I can't name one book or one movie or even one sort of film or book, I just love too many and too different films and books. My favourite movies range from "Modern Times" to "Once upon a time in the West" and "2001: Space Odyssey" and the movies of Pedro Almodovar.
I'm also particulary interested in Chinese movies from directors such as Wong Kar-wai, Ang Lee, Jia Zhang-ke, Wang Xiaoshuai or Stanley Kwan.
Oh, and I just adore the work of cinematographer Christopher Doyle.
I can't live without reading and I read almost everything, from Agatha Christie to Jane Austen, from Maupassant to Maupin.
