About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Meet new people and socialize.

ABOUT ME

I have a thirst for travel. I have explored 13 different countries and I have travelled in almost all of the continental states. When I heard about this site, I thought it would be a great way to connect with other people who love to travel.

PHILOSOPHY

I am fascinated by the idea of couch surfing, because I think it is a way to bring people together and to make the world a little better. I believe in having an open mind. I think everyone is a teacher and everyone is a student, and I am interested to see what I can learn from this experience.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just signed up to host couch surfers, but I imagine that I would be able to provide fellow travelers with a nice place to stay. Perhaps we could take a stroll down the quaint Main Street in Zionsville, or I could just provide a place for them to crash for the evening.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have never couch surfed, but I have backpacked through Europe. I travelled with two of my friends and we camped out for a month in various cities in Europe. It was a great adventure that I will always remember.

Interests

I love geocaching. Not many people know what that is, but it incorporates my love of travel. I like meeting new people and learning new things.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love Tom Robbins' books. I am also into poetry both old and new. I like movies that make you think, and aren't just a waste of two hours.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I had a near death experience in Lake Atitlan in Guatemala last summer. This lake has been considered one of the vortexes of the universe. My friend and I went kayaking and we got caught in a big storm. Luckily, a couple of local fishermen saved our lives and even retrieved all of our belongings. I will fill in the details of the story when you come to stay.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would teach a fellow traveller about geocaching.
