About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Have fun meeting people from around the world.
ABOUT ME
I am studying Applied Math and Spanish at the University of Oregon. The math can be a little intense, so I like to balance it out with fun activities like spending time outside (I grew up out in the country so I am a sucker for clean air, lack of noise and light pollution, and fresh produce!) listening to music, and just chillin...
PHILOSOPHY
That is what I am searching for in my travels...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am ready to welcome people into my home.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I went couchsurfing on my own in Galica and Portugal last June, and I stayed with some really awesome people. I loved it!!!
During my Semana Santa break in 2008, I couch surfed with my good friend Liz. The trip was amazing and I know that our hosts introduced us to tons of places and things that we otherwise would not have seen.
My old roommates were also couchsurfers, so we hosted people a couple of times and I have always heard great stories about the couchsurfing experience.

Music, Movies, and Books
I really like classic rock...Pink Floyd, CSN&Y, Led Zeppelin, Neil Young, Tom Petty, The Grateful Dead...you get the idea.
I also like more modern stuff from the 90s like Smashing Pumpkins, Nirvana, Radiohead, Sublime, Massive Attack...
And then indie rock that is from my area that I wont bother listing...and I love hearing new music!
Right now I am reading the Lord of the Rings and I always have really cool dreams!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I volunteered on a reserve in the rainforest in Ecuador. Falling asleep to the sounds of the rainforest is something I wish everyone could experience because it would make them a lot more inclined to try to save it. Seeing an an endangered species every two seconds can do it too!
