About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Life is either a daring adventure or nothing

ABOUT ME

I recently graduated from school in Washington, DC and now I'm living in Boston with my best friend, Bryn Burke (look her up on Couchsurfing as well!).

In a year or two I'd like to attend grad school for urban planning, but for now I'm just working and enjoying exploring Beantown!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Bryn and I are excited to share our couch with fellow CSers who are visiting the Boston area!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed in Canada, the US, and France. During the summer of 2009 I did an amazing 3-week cross-country road trip with friends from home and we Couchsurfed with 6 different CSers across the country. It really added to our experience and let us get a truer, local perspective.

Interests

Hiking, kayaking, running (currently training for a half marathon!), geocaching, cooking vegetarian meals, discovering new foods, going wave-surfing at the ocean, urban planning, public transportation, living a car-free lifestyle.

Music, Movies, and Books

Recently read a few books by Mary Roach-she's a great author with a funny, easy-to-understand approach to scientific topics.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Even though it isn't the most exotic thing that I've done, I went kayaking in really Northern New Hampshire with my mom in a high mountain lake in the Great North Woods. It was really serene and it felt so isolated; it was great to get out of the hustle and bustle of everyday life!

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, France, Italy, Monaco, Switzerland

Countries I’ve Lived In

France, Tanzania, United States
