Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Always becoming a better host/guest. There is no top to that mountain.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
At the houstel we used to host sometimes two or three groups at a time pretty constantly. On the surfing side, I keep doing these big figure eights around America and getting very lucky with my hosts. My references tell a crazy story.
Interests
I'm pretty interested in everything. I guess some things more than others and they would be animals, food, music, history, recording processes, living techniques, physics, hallucinogens, cemeteries, etc.

Music, Movies, and Books
Planet Earth/Blue Planet/BBC Life all day - Most biopics or documentaries on any topic - The Wes Anderson collection especially Darjeeling Limited - All manner of informative internet links - The end of pretty much any contest - My mind is a total blank right now but I like film best. Books - Salinger's Glass family stuff - Emerson, Huxley, Watts, OSHO, Orwell especially Down and Out in P & L, Travels with Charly, Siddhartha, duh, Whitman, The Classics, Dosteovsky especially. Music - ah well Belafonte, The Pixies, Django, Soul Coughing, Sigur Ros, Elliott Smith, Radiohead, Beethoven especially Concerto #5, The Requiem Mass, Giraffes? Giraffes!, Panda Bear, The Midival Pundits - What else... Giacometti sculptures get to me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Driven about 40k miles by car in this country and checked down all of America's little capillaries. The west does it for me. But I also advocate spending months surviving day to day surfing NYC. I do it once a year. Good for the ribs.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I'm always learning and always excited to share what I learned, which I guess is teaching. I am a great advocate of trading and trusting and giving without expecting returns.
