About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Finishing up this damn Ph.D.
ABOUT ME
I never get enough of exploring, discovering new places, concepts, people. I love travelling the world and soak within new cultures. Try to understand them, and in the process understand my culture and myself better. Besides travelling, I also have a passion for cooking, travelling, yoga, and nature (and other things I don't know yet).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I currently live in a tiny 1 room studio with my boyfriend, so for the moment I can not host anyone for a night, but would be happy to share a drink and my knowledge about the beautiful area I live in (North-Central Florida).
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I was a Couchsurfing member a few years ago and had a host a couple of bag packers in my native village then. They were very positive experiences. I also shared belgian beers with various travelling Couchsurfers. I had to leave the Couchsurfing community for while after I had to deny so many requests by never being settled in a place that would allow to welcome travelers conveniently.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Move on my own on the other side of the Atlantic (Belgium - USA) during four years to pursue Ph.D. studies, but also to discover another part of the World. It has been an extremely enriching experience.
What I Can Share with Hosts
For the moment only a coffee / beer, a good chat and some advices about the area I live in.
