I work in France as an independant entomologist, working mostly on the insect fauna of the tropical french oversea territories.
I love to travel, for work and/or for pleasure, especially in the lovely tropical islands to hike in their volcanoes and outstanding high mountains. I also love snorkeling in their turquoise water of course!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I had the pleasure to couchsurf in 2008 during my around the world travel and it was fantastic experiences, with so amazing people.
I can't host people at home for the moment as I am renovating our 1890's old fisher house but I hope I will be able to host some couchsurfers soon !
I would love to couchsurf again, and create new amazing souvenirs with my hosts !

Interests

I am a curious person, so I am interested in a lot of things, but my true passion is nature and especially insects. And most especially Hymenoptera (ants, bees and wasps). And most especially ants. And most especially tropical islands ants.
I also love hiking, photography and drinking beers with my friends!

I listen a lot of different kinds of music but I listen mostly rock, punk and metal.
I watch a lot of different kinds of movies too, with no particular preferences.
I don't have that much time to read but I love to read fantasy novels such as The Lord of the Rings or Game of Thrones that I just finish to read.
