About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to see and experience as much as is humanely possible in the very short time frame that I have here in Europe. And to share my thoughts and epxeriences with people from a multitude of backgrounds and cultures.

ABOUT ME

I am deeply interested in the world around me and I take any and every opportunity to experience and learn from life. I've also got a great sense of humour and try to be as social as possible.
I've got a range of artistic and musical hobbies, which I have unfortunately not been able to continue very well in France.

PHILOSOPHY

Haha, good question. I guess be the best person I can possibly be and have fun doing it.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I generally use CS as a tool for language learning, and have joined a number of language learning groups to find people interested in speaking French and German. However I also use CS for meeting people, and forming social groups with like-minded people when I travel and live abroad.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I was in France I did try to find people in Vannes, Bretagne, on whose couch I could sleep on for the one night that I was in that town to see Herbie Hancock in concert. Otherwise it's purely been a social networking site for me.

Interests

Almost everything and anything of a cultural, humourous, artisitic, musical, cinematic, social, of a crazy and I guess possibly even profound nature.

  • traveling

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many to list

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

See my first ANZAC day dawn service here in France, for the first time that it was ever held on french soil, and to see the town of Villers Brettoneux, and to meet all the people who I met (french, Nigerian, Australian and from New Zealand), and also to see the sun rise behind the war memorial tower and cemetry- now that was absolutely incredible.
