ABOUT ME

Hi I'm Matt from Manchester, England.

After my first degree I spent 5 years traveling and working abroad. I lived in Vietnam for a year teaching English, Australia for almost 2 years, Japan, Korea etc etc I spent some time modeling and acting while I was abroad which was fun and messed around with a few other jobs but finally decided to come home and do a masters degree.

I finished that in June 2012 and now I work as a surveyor all over the world. It's ideal for me as I get to work in different countries and also get a lot of time off.

I love traveling and love meeting new people and have met some really interesting people through couchsurfing. It makes things so much easier when you can get some local knowledge off someone.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have both surfed and hosted in several countries. I had people stay with me in Vietnam, Australia, Scotland and England and I have couchsurfed myself in Korea, Hong Kong and Australia. I have also attended a few CS parties.

I love trying to learn new languages. Being English, I am obviously very lazy as English is so widely used but one of my ambitions in life is to be fluent in another language.
