ABOUT ME

I was born in 1983 in a small town called Abbekerk somehwere north of Amsterdam. Luckily moved quickly to a bigger town, Hoorn, else it was a 20 kilometres bike-ride to the nearest secondary school.

Hoorn is situated along a big lake, here I got addicted to sailing and everything outdoor.

The university is to far to travel everyday, so I moved again to Delft, where I live still today. I think it is nice here, close to big cities, with a nice city centre. more important, the next lake is nearby!

PHILOSOPHY

"To day it is a good day to die"
(in more positve words, life is a gift and one should get as much out of it as possible. Live today like there is no other)
"Mag nooit klagen"
{Dutch for I may not complain, there is always something worse)
"Wie goed doet, wie goed ontmoet"
(Dutch for good people meets good people .... hey wasn't this the whole idea behind CouchSurfing ?)

Interesses

Sailing, hiking, ... almost anything outside, as long the weather is good ;).

Músicas, Filmes e Livros

I love strange music. Like to listen to bands like Stratovarius, Epica, Within Temptation and so on ...
you can define it as listenable hard-rock and metal.

The last book I have read took me 3 months and I didn't finish it, because of too much work. For my travel plans in the month I should get new books from Clive Cussler.

Movies, anything will do, except for girl flicks.

Taiwan, a country with a completely different language, culture, everything. Where people think it brings luck when you get hit by firework...
Result: Thousands of people packed in a city and all firework is launched horizontal.
I like those experiences :D.
