ABOUT ME

A lover of languages, travel, and people. I seek out laughter in every day and moment. I am slowly becoming a yogi and seek a life of peace, happiness and joy.

I lived in Wiesbaden, Germany from 2007-2010, and this year moved to Charlotte, North Carolina. I'm American but am married to a German. I have two AMAZING little rescue dogs named Harry and Spike.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

CS is such a great thing! It is an amazing way to see the world on a budget and meet new like-minded people. I am active in spreading the word to just about anyone I meet. I am open to meet people for coffee and might be open to surfers. I have an open-door policy for friends and visitors!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Wow. CS has been so good to me! I had an amazing experience surfing in Colorado which showed me that CS is for all types of people. Surfing in the heart of Le Marais in Paris was one of the best experiences of my life, and I will never forget the kitchen/living room/dining room turned bedroom in the evening which played host to a multitude of joyful evenings! Most of all I enjoy the lovely people I've met through CS!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

It's amazing to see new life. The birth of my niece and nephew were amazing. It was thrilling to skydive. Getting married to my best friend felt amazing. The look my dog gives me when I get home after a long day warms my heart everyday!

hmmm... I've traveled quite a bit, so I can tell you about that... China, New Zealand, USA, Europe, Australia, Mexico, etc. I have lots of crazy stories and enjoy telling them!

Plus my husband is German and I am American. We could chat all day about cultural differences, similarities, etc.
