ABOUT ME

Although I'm living in Brussels (where there is a lot of cultural ebullition!), I love little cities, crossed by a river where you can bicycle (my flemish roots!) or rollerblade (one of my favourite sports). I like to discover cities : I was guide for a while in the city of Bruges and Tours(Loire). Historical and religious patrimonium is my favourite.
I like to take time to share points of views with friends, to read the newspaper, to read books and to write.
I like big promenades in nature whith openspaces where I can let a kite be leaded by the wind, a excellent moment to admire nature.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I used to live on several places, Netherlands, Italy, France, now Brussels where I always shared accomodation whith other people of different countries. Sometimes it is a challenge because we are so different, but it is so rich !

I like to welcome people even more than to be somebody's guest. For the moment, I proposed myself only for a drink, to learn couch-surfing better. If this is a good experience I can think about offering a couch, in my shared appartment...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I was hosted in a farm house last summer in Gozo (Malta), through a friend which is also couch-surfer.

During my journey in Slovenia whith a friend, we picked up in our car a hitch-hiker who was a couch-surfer too.

I like this way of being in meeting people and regions trough other people.

Rire, lire, parler d'autres langues (ou faire semblant!), danser (des danses folks d'autres pays), faire des trekkings sac à dos (compostelle, pyrénées,..)

Music, Movies, and Books

Ik hou van historische romans, reisverhalen en jeugdliteratuur. Klassieke muziek met heel bijzonder Bach en Mozart als nummer 1 maar ook af en toe Vlaamse liedjes (jaja!), franse chansons, en vooral wereldmuziek.
