ABOUT ME

We both love music! We go out for live shows and festivals often. We like to dance like nobody's watching and love like we've never been hurt! We love meeting new people and exploring new cultures. Don traveled around the US with a rock band, meeting interesting people, and Laura is addicted to international travel, exploring new cultures, meeting new friends! We can't get enough!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Qatar, Scotland, Tanzania, Borneo, Thailand and all over the U.S.! We couchsurf as much as possible because people are wonderful everywhere!

Interests

We both love the outdoors! The mountains are our sanctuary! We spend summers mtn biking, hiking, & camping, and we spend winters skiing & snowboarding. We are creatures of the Sun. We love wide open spaces, mountain streams, and beautiful vistas. We also are becoming quite addicted to scuba diving!

Music, Movies, and Books

We enjoy a variety of music, but find ourselves most frequently at rock/jamband/bluegrass shows or listening to groovy funky jams!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Took a Leer jet to 46,000 feet to see Haley's Comet...joined a rock&roll band at age 40.... roasted marshmellows on a lava flow in Hawaii... Swam in a psychedelic, bioluminescent bay in the Carribean...climbed Mt Kilimanjaro to 19,342 ft....dove Sipidan Island off the coast of Borneo.
