Work in Amsterdam for Aflatoun NGO and travel in latin America managing the project of children's social and financial education.

ABOUT ME

I am a proud latin american woman, having the experience to work abroad. Grew up in Guatemala and studied in Florence and Rome, those days were beautiful, I still miss living in Italy. I live in Amsterdam now for my job I am enjoying life here and all the experiences I collect during traveling.

I have friends living all around the world, I have a great bond with them. I am very social, love to have a great time, party, have good food, travel, watch good movies, drink nice coffee.

PHILOSOPHY

The great thing about life is that you make mistakes and learn from them, you can always reinvent yourself and change to be a better person, the motivation is always pursuing happiness.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love traveling, I have had some european guests at my hometown, they were all my sister's friends, now I would love to have the same opportunity and also in a future when I come back to Guatemala have the opportunity to receive more friends at my hometown.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had one experience, went to Berlin with a friend and couch surfed for 4 days, we had a great time. I hope to start traveling on my own again and meet new people.

Interests

Yoga, boxing, spinning. Days at the beach, having fun with friends or family. Weekends in small towns, traveling in my own country.

Books about psychology. Music, like alternative rock is my favorite, chill out, electronic, spanish music.
Movies like dramas and comedies.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Help people. Ive worked with children with learning disabilities. The greatest thing has been when at the end of a period the parents told me they were doing so much better in school. Also being supportive and listening to people, that gives me a great satisfaction, that people can rely on me.

Teach, Learn, Share

Psychoanalisis is a great and very accurate method to know yourself, this has given me lots of answers to enjoy my life more and being thankful with all of what I get.
