Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I haven't participated in a while but I was involved with the CS community from 2008-2010 when I was in my early 20s. I traveled abroad utilizing CS and can honestly say it was a life changing experience. I've also organized gatherings in my city and met the most incredible people. The memories I have created by being part of the CS community are simply unforgettable.

I hope to get involved in CS again and meet some awesome people.

Interests

I love twilight (the time of day not the movie franchise), sunshowers, cherry blossoms, running through sprinklers, philosophy, art, puppies, sustainability, good food, laughing, animals, nature, connection.

Vegetarian since 2005. Vegan since 2014.

I am fascinated by history. I have a collection of vintage clothing and jewelry spanning from 1900s - 1950s.

I love all kinds of music, and foreign films, dramas, and historical WWI-WWII dramas.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing I have done is participate in the FREE HUGS campaign for several years in my city (and abroad while couchsurfing)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I teach a class about mindfulness and happiness at a local college. I can share what I've learned and give you tips on how to be happier. It's a huge secret that everyone already knows but doesn't realize. I can also offer self care and stress management strategies.

I've been told I give good hugs and can make people smile! :)
