Most friends would say: that girl needs to put on some shoes. But we still love her anyways.

Interests

I am currently in grad school in New Orleans. I'm studying to be a counselor, so in addition to classes I work as a bartender, and a teaching assistant for undergrads. I am still just exploring this lovely old/new city I now call home, and spend the rest of my time searching out cheap beers with friends, reading in bed, and experimenting in my tiny, crooked kitchen.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After I graduated from college my sisters and I went on a trip to Ireland and Scotland. I had previously visited the Dingle peninsula while studying abroad, so I dragged them back there. It was as beautiful and fun as I remembered, and we decided to rent bikes and ride around the edge of the peninsula. It was foggy and cold but at one moment the air cleared as we were on the western most part of Europe. I thought I might die from wobbling off the edge of the cliff from exhaustion, but it was still worth all the effort,
