About Me
CURRENT MISSION
My mission is simple: I have, concerning pretty much everything in my life, been extraordinarily lucky in my life, and I have seen people who have not. So, what better way to spend my time than trying to share?
ABOUT ME
I never know what to write for these questions... I suggest you get to know me, and form your own picture...?
PHILOSOPHY
As I already mentionned above, I know, there are a billion things in the world that need to be changed in the world, and I feel it would be a betrayal to both myself and less fortunate people if I did not at least try to make my contribution to changing one or two of them in my lifetime. Who does not dare, does not win!

Music, Movies, and Books
All these questions... Well, concerning music, I generally find something good in pretty much any kind of music, but what I mainly enjoy is jazz, reggae, good blues, folk, A capella, sometimes rock, sometimes rap, sometimes pop,... In general, I like "high quality music", which does not only consist of "noise". But, you're welcome to show me something new...
Concerning books and movies: I quite enjoy good fantasy (Lord of the Rings forever!!!), and I like to laugh while watching a movie or reading. But I also enjoy well-made historical stories, interesting non-fiction or dramas etc. Latest favourites: Frank Schätzing, Bill Bryson, Jules Verne, Ephraim Kishon, Thomas Cathcart
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Swimming naked in the icecold water of a Finnish lake, surrounded by mist and natural sounds, moon above, just coming out of sauna... Sounds ordinary, feels awesome!
Sitting below a mango tree with a lot of old Mozambican house wifes, discussing the values of hygiene, earning a lot of laughter for a (symbolic)demonstration of doing your business- life is good...
Up-Helly-Aa in Lerwick, Shetland- last Tuesday in January, every year- it's worth it!
Talking to a survivor of the atomic bomb on Hiroshima, making you think more than anything else.
Nightlife in Seoul- oh my god...
Dancing like a madman with sixty other international youngsters in Cape Town, South Africa- anybody skeptical towards international understanding should try that!
Teach, Learn, Share
Das deutsche Wort "Krieg" kommt von "kriegen"- darüber sollte man mal nachdenken!
