ABOUT ME

If you want to know something more in general about "myself", best try to meet me or read on. Honestly: sometimes I think I am getting posh. I live in a run-down flat with parquet floor, high ceilings adored with bourgeois stucco, big windows and white walls.
I do art projects and I make my living as self-motivated(!) photographer. I feel responsible for my actions and want to encounter the world and live in it (instead of just consuming it).
I like cooking and some restaurants, too. Eating together is social. Sharing a flat is social and sofa surfing is even more of a social event (see Couch Information). The outside world, usually excluded from the built privacy inside, enters with every guest and it's different from sitting over a coffee with close friends you have known for a long time – those are already part of your life. I have come to see that the guest is giving as much as the host no matter if s/he brings something with him or not – it's the world that's in your luggage.

I take or make photos. Inside and outside; places of the world can be viewed in the image even if today it is hard to tell which places are still "lived" ones; I work with the world as it is consisting of places and non-places and bring the relations alive on the image.

For the Music, Movies, Books section which can serve as a sort of identity for all of us – I tell you what I like and you tell me who I am – we can add a lot of key words: Brands, Materials, Games, Dishes, Lifestyles. Let's say I like Metallica and "The Name of the Rose". There are two indicators of something that attracts and connects me to this music and those words, what are those? More indicators make a description of this "something" that is myself less vague yet there could never be enough likes or dislikes..

So let's hang around: at home with guests and as nomads on sofas. And whenever we don't we otherwise seize the day...
