ABOUT ME

Supposed to be retired, but I didnt like it. Live in London - have two lodgers and couch in front room - also z bed. I have lots of friends, but no one to "do nothing with". Am not looking for more friends, but am curious as to meeting new people, I have had loads of lodgers over the years, from almost every country - most of them delightful. I like cooking and entertaining and meeting with my Sister, family, friends and Daughter Michele and Husband Gavin and twin granddaughters in LA

What ever I do - I do it well, cleaning toilets or writing a budget or policies.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Two super girls from Winsconson and Minnisota stayed here for 4 days, they loved London.

Interests

Not too many, going to gym, walking, tv, movies, National Trust member. Being with family and friends and cooking for them.

Music, Movies, and Books

I always am reading but tend to get bored easily (bad sign), have just finished Sophies Choice - William Styron (second time of reading it). I never got on with Grapes of Wrath and have started it 5 times! Love all movies....I like most music but dont understand jazz or garage music. I enjoy the old stuff - Frank Sinatra etc and my favourite is Jimmy Durante singing all the old favs.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen my grand-daughters born....(twin girls in LA), obviously was there when my son and daughter were born, not so enjoyable due to pain, but great after.

Teach, Learn, Share

I play draughts.....and dominos, and I am a good listener, like all board games. I can teach nothing, although when I was working I was a trainer, but who wants to learn about Food Hygiene and Risk Assessement, or Appraisal Skills. I have a great knowlwdge of London and would be a fairly good guide, know lots of bars and pubs!
