About Me

CURRENT MISSION

I'm a pilgrim, a citizen of the world. I'm the philosoph farmer. I try to give answer to our presence on this earth, try to appreciate every nuance of this strange, amazing life.

ABOUT ME

I like working the land. I like gardening, taking care of the mother nature, explore its secrets. I work for a farm with vineyards and I'm the responsible to recycle the organic scraps of the farm and transform them in humus. Watching the creation can give all the answers we need to live in peace with ourself and with the others.
Basicly I'm buddhist, but I'm for any God speaking love words... I think there is only one God. You can call him in some different ways... I mean, you can put water in a bucket, in a glass, in a bottle... always water is! the name of the religions are just the cases of what we have inside.
I love travelling and meet the owner of the land I'm visiting, have a drink with them, talking about their life and try to keep the wisdom there's in the other person and in his culture.
I think peace is the only way to save this world. We must be in peace with ourself first. This is the challenge of all my life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well... I'm just arrived in this couchsurfingworld. I hope to know lots of new friends, I'll try to be a good friend to everyone wants to come to visit me. Italy is just amazing!!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I spent ten months travelling around New Zealand and Australia. I spent lot of time hosted by kiwi people, even for more than two months. It was a farm, I worked for meal and accomodation and I slept in the barn (modern!).
I have a really good friend in Belgium (now he is in Cambodia) and we make each other visit.

Interests

Hiking: I born in north Italy, not far Cuneo, I spent lot of time hiking on the Alps. In 2004 I walked 800 km, in Spain, to Santiago de Compostela. Amazing experience.
Every time I can I leave my feet going. This is the way I feel more free.

I like reading. I read, at least, 25 books each year. When I cannot travel and I can't make experiences and earn wisdom, I read. I love south american writer, but I read everything. My first book has been Jonathan Livinston Seagull, I was 10 years old. I'm trying to find the perfect flight.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: born with Queen, continued with Aerosmith and jumped into the hard rock. The heavy metal has been a run away love. Huge love for blues. Best rock band of the history?? Led Zeppelin, nobody else. About blues: B.B. King. Best concerts of my life: Rage against the machine (Paris), AC/DC (Milan), Carlos Santana (Imola), B.B. King (Pistoia).

Movies: The Mission, The Untouchables, Men of honour, Forrest Gump, Into the wild and many many others.

Books: Jonathan Livinston seagull, Lord of the Ring, The pilgrimage, The Alchimist. Too many. Recently I read two books written by Khaled Kosseini about Afghanistan. Now I'm reading "Un altro giro di giostra" written by Tiziano Terzani and a book about biodynamic in the vineyards.
