ABOUT ME
it's difficult to describe yourself in a paragraph. I am loud (though can keep quiet when i need to!) I like conversation and laughter, and need good music to get through the day. I love to cook and spend more money than I probably should having large groups of friends over for dinner when I'm at home. I have strong opinions about human rights and the world around me but am always more than happy to hear opinions different to my own. I work as a project manager, directing Australia's largest music education program, and I also have a small cabaret production company.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have surfed through Europe, Mexico, Cuba and the USA and been amazed at people's generosity. At home in Australia I have hosted some wonderful people too!
Interests
live music & theatre, good coffee and conversation, learning other languages, making music (I sing and play violin), politics (especially women's rights, indigenous issues, queer rights, support for the arts & the environment), swimming - growing up in Australia has given me a GREAT appreciation of beaches, walking - strolling around new places to get my bearings, cold weather - crisp winds and warm scarves, reading - books that are so engrossing you sit and read all day and don't notice time passing til the sun goes down, cooking - and vegetarianism, ice cream - i really love ice cream, dancing - salsa and also foolish dance offs in the middle of the dancefloor that leave you doubled over laughing, nerdy superhero movies and over the top old musicals, playing scrabble, playing soccer, travel (obviously) and adventure.
