ABOUT ME

We are originally from France, and we met each other in Highschool and have been together for 6 years.
We recently quit our job and our house in the Reunion Island (former French colony beside Madagascar) to stick on our new project, a one year trip around the world! Mireille is occupational therapist and I am an environmental engineer.
We lived 6 months ago in a little house located in a lovely village in the very country side of the Upper Normandie, not far from Honfleur and Le Havre. We are now living in reunion island for a while, who knows how long!

We heard about the couch surfing system, and
it seems to be adapted to our way of living because we like meeting people and get to know them.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Our first steps in CS was in June 2008 in Australia. Since then, it's been a lot of fun...!

Intereses

We like sport and nature (hiking, trail, biking...), music (Stif plays guitar), dance (Mimi likes African dance) and we are hands-on people : the red line of our 4 months trip in Asia has been to learn handicraft with locals, especially wood carving. Mimi are also interested in alternative medicine (massage, ayurvedic...).

We like a lot cinema and movies. Music : world music (African music like Ali Farka Toure), everything looking like jazz blues pop or rock (from Pink Floyd to Dire STraits through Jonny Lang, Maceo Parker, Oliver Nelson, Michel Petrucciani, Chet Baker, Asa, Marcus Miller...........!?)

We could teach you wood carving, guitar, how to built a bamboo shelf and other handicraft techniques... Mireille likes share recipies and Stephane has a lot of movies and music to deal with. We want to improve our English and to learn about your way of life!
