ABOUT ME

Yes, I am older than most CSers, but that doesn't mean I've grown up! I am a full-time musician and part-time actor and I've toured all over the U.S. for many years. As of 2019 I've toured Europe 27 times . Last year (2019), after a two-week tour of France, Switzerland, Germany and Austria, I spent another three weeks in Italy visiting friends in Venice, Tuscany, Rome, Milano and Liguria (my favorite place in the world).
I was also on a "Leonardo Quest" to see how many Leonardo DaVinci pieces I could see on the 500th anniversary of his death, which also led me to Paris, Florence, Vinci and Château d'Amboise (500 years and one day after his death).
You may see me in a commercial or film short here and there-- acting is just part of this adventure of life.
I like water, music, jumping off of perfectly good mountains, laughter, good food, good wine, cold beer, and friends.
Photography is a passion- I once had a small gallery in a cool little Texas Hill Country tourist town where I should have spent more time. Cooking is also a passion- I am happy in the kitchen with a nice glass of wine or a cold beer and knives flying.

I have surfed and have hosted surfers- some have become good friends. It's great!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Through music and couchsurfing I have been hosted by and have hosted many good friends along the way all over the U.S. and Europe. Now I have become very close friends with people I have met through couchsurfing.

Music, Movies, and Books

All kinds of music as long as it is presented honestly, but especially Americana/Tex-Mex/Coonass/Country/Rockin' Blues.
Some movies. I like character-driven stories. Shawshank Redemption, Scent Of A Woman, Second Hand Lions, Lonesome Dove, Fried Green Tomatoes, etc.
Not a lot of time for reading, but I've been catching up on some old masters- Steinbeck, Hemingway,etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Watching my daughter being born takes the cake. An amazing thing!
Playing for 30,000 people at a festival in France will get your blood pumping.
Also, playing Auld Lang Syne in a small club on New Years Eve with Willie Nelson was pretty cool, too.

Teach, Learn, Share

We can definitely play some music- almost everybody I hang with are musicians. We learn from everyone. I love to cook, so any pointers you may have, don't hold back.
