ABOUT ME

The day I packet my few belongings and came to the UK,my life has changed.I spent my first night feeding pigeons on the Trafalgar Square and speaking English (or so I thought)which noone could understand...Since I met so many most wonderful people whose friendships touched my heart and helped me to grow into the person that I am now...I loved busy streets of Bristol and peaceful beaches of South Wales...Although I am far away from my family and my friends I grew up with and I rarely see them, I believe that a distance becomes real only when you let it...

PHILOSOPHY

It's not my words, but this quote always helps me to lift myself back up: "Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.."
I believe in saying that when we want something, we look for possibilities and when we don't-for excuses..
It is important to have your values and live by them every day...

兴趣

I love being creative and..I think we got to learn lots from children as they are always true in what they saying and are full of amazing thoughts and ideas!
Living alone taught me cooking, I especially like Lithuanian food as it brings me back to when I was in my home country.
I looooveee dancing:)

I think letters you write and letters that come through your door are one of the most exciting things! I don't just enjoy writing, it's a big part of my everyday life...

Movies: "Eternal Sunshine","Frida","Constant Gardener","Sideways","Ray","Romance&Cigarettes","Factory girl"...and Lithuanian version of "Winnie the Pooh" that i grew up with:)

Music: Sigur Ros, Antony and the Johnsons, Cat Power, Feist, Nagus, Nina Simone, Morcheeba, Ben Harper, Norah Jones...Lithuanian music,especially FOJE! Otherwise LIVE!can't think of anything better!something jazzy?:)

Books:I'm trying to make it a habit to finish reading a book, I enjoy all psychology books, biographies and art books.the one book i can read over and over again is by Karen Casey and Martha Vanvenburg "The promise of a new day", it's a book of daily meditations..
I am also addicted to magazines..lunch or Vogue?? definitly VOGUE!:)

Learn/Share: I say I want to learn to be more content and have more balance in my life, but then I would never experience (or not as much) those "ups" when you completely happy and excited like a child on Christmas morning...and those "downs", when you come face to face with your insecurities..I'd love to learn meditation though..
Other cultures and languages also interests me..
