After finishing my studies in February I decided, together with my boyfriend David, to embark on an adventure in the Americas, which should last from March until August 2016.

So far this has been an amazing experience, which allowed us to see gorgeous waterfalls in Brazil and Argentina, amazing glaciers and mountains in Patagonia, and beautiful ruins in Peru and Mexico! We have also met a lot of nice people during this trip, and look forward to meeting more! :)

ABOUT ME
I am from Brazil but have been living in the Netherlands for the past seven years. I have studied International Relations / Public Administration, and am passionate about topics such as sustainable development in developing countries. I love dancing (any kind of dance, I think, from salsa and bachata to tango and samba), and am very enthusiastic about learning new languages. Oh yes, and I also love animals and have a cat (the sweetest one in the world!) ;)

ABOUT DAVID
David is from the Netherlands, works in Amsterdam as a web developer and plays drums in two bands. He studied music and later IT and loves food, music, sunny places, caipirinha, programming and cats.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first tried couchsurfing about seven years ago when I was travelling in Europe with some friends. I had some very nice experiences through couchsurfing and met some very nice people!

Now, after many years of studying, I am free to travel again, and look forward to doing some couchsurfing in South America to meet more nice people.

Interests

At the moment I'm specially interested in learning Spanish. Next to that, I could summarize here that both David and I are interested in nice things such as trying new foods, hiking, meeting new people, enjoying the sun...
