About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Enjoy my life adventure! Learn about myself and the world and share compassion and humor with people I meet along the way.

ABOUT ME

I love whistling, making pottery, riding my bicycle, looking for birds, and dreaming. I'm learning how to breathe. I make delicious popcorn.

PHILOSOPHY

Let the music dance you.

Usually, the less you search, the easier it is to find.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting the incredibly interesting and diverse people that Couchsurfing attracts. I've met amazing people and have had the best adventures with them, learned from them and shared with them. I've slept on couches, hiked through forests, met the most wonderful people, danced in the streets, camped in tents, ridden half-way across the country, eaten exciting foods, played the ukelele, learned about edible plants, dance-dance-revolutioned and so much more all thanks to Couchsurfing.

Interests

Pottery, bike riding, being in nature, drawing, eyes, hands, the ocean, the mountains, hiking, camping, speaking Spanish, singing, looking at the stars, reading, paying attention to my breath, listening to music....

Music, Movies, and Books

Some of my favorite books have been: The God of Small Things, The Power of Myth, A Fine Balance, The Life of Pi and The Tao of Pooh (among others)

I love listening to MaMuse, Grace Potter & the Nocturnals, Natalia Lafourcade, Railroad Earth, Daisy May, The Wailin' Jennys, Brandi Carlile, Johnny Cash, the Indigo Girls, the Jerry Garcia Band and many more. It makes me happy when people introduce me to new songs, artists, books, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I rode my bicycle across the United States. With 7 high school students!

Teach, Learn, Share

I love sharing homecooked meals. I'm interested in learning about who you are, what's important to you, and what your life is like. I'd love to share Laughter Yoga with you! I also practice Reiki and would be happy to share that with you as well.

I would love to cook with you and/or cook for you and I'll wash your dishes :)
