I'm just a nice lady sitting on a porch in a lovely neighborhood, watching the world go by. Lately, there's been a great communal vibe in my house and it might spice it up a little bit to have a visitor once in a while.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I had a lot of fun couch surfing in Bolivia, staying with Europeans who were living in La Paz and Sucre. They had a lot of friends come over and included me in the fun, and they appreciated it when I cooked for them.

I want to learn Spanish through immersion and would be happy to help anyone with their English.

I'm also very interested in crafts and self-reliance, so farming/gardening, building, cooking, sewing, and pottery are some things I've dabbled in and would like to learn more about. Outdoor activities, like camping, backpacking, climbing, etc. are things I can do but would like to learn to do better.
