ABOUT ME

It's always difficult to begin that kind of description...well, I will try! Firstly, I'm from Belgium...so my english is certainly not the better you've ever read, sorry :o) But fortunatly, I think I am a nice person, open-minded and sociable. I study journalism in Louvain-la-Neuve, the beer and party city in Belgium. And yes, I like beers, and mostly special beers! If you need a piece of advice to do a beautiful gift to someone...

I didn't travel a lot in my life: my parents were crazy about a house in France and we went there every summer during my childhood. So, now, I don't know if it's a reaction of personnal revolution, but I want to discover countries by myself and not via the hotels or organised travels. That's why I'm on CS!

What else? I'm in an improvisation team and I made a lot of theater. I'm going in Québec (Canada) next year for my studies during 5 months and I hope to be admit in an improvisation team there, because it's really THE improvisation country.

I'm also a scout leader, with 17-years-old girls. I've been in the scout movments since I'm 11, and it takes a lot of place in my life. I learnt so much things: living together, organisation, frienship, etc. In Belgium it's a reaaly developped hobby. You ask around you and you have minimum the half of people that did it! But well I will stop next year because I'm going to study in Canada...

PHILOSOPHY

"To much introspection kills the introspection". I think it's a good thing to think about your life, your projects, etc, but I won't forget that the most important is to go further. That's how you really live: by discovering and learning about everyting around you.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

CS is very new for me! I don't have my own house so I can't accomodate people but I'm always ok to have a drink (a belgian beer of course) or to show you Louvain-La-Neuve and its parties!

Movies: I'm not a boss, I didn't see a lot of films...but I like cynics series like Dexter or Weeds
Music: belgian and french groups (Ozark henry, Jeronimo, Pauline Croze, Mudflow, Yel, Girls in Hawai, etc), but also radiohead, chemicals brothers, stéréphonics, amy winehouse,moby, ayo...
Books: I read a lot but my favorite book are "L'alchimiste" for the beautiful learning about life, and the writer Maupassant for his incredible way to tell stories about his epoch.
